1. Komebushi (米節) [a traditional Miyagi song]
2. HIBIKI (響)[Mao Sone]
3. Komebushi (米節) - Instrumental-
“Komebushi” is a traditional folk song from Miyagi Prefecture in northern Japan. The lyrics reflect on the immense amount of time, effort, and care required to produce even a single grain of rice—an essential staple of Japanese life and culture. Through this imagery, the song reminds us that no work in this world is truly easy, and it carries a message about the importance of gratitude.
Originally sung as a kind of moral folk song passed down through generations, I hope that through this new arrangement it will resonate with people today and continue to be shared with future generations.
