Mao Sone's new studio album, "Eight Little Pieces," is set for release.

— The melody of life, a suite of love. A colorful 45 minutes woven from family and music —

Jazz pianist/composer Mao Sone's new album, "Eight Little Pieces," is scheduled for release on September 10, 2025.

Born to coincide with the significant life event of the birth of their first child, this suite consists of eight chapters themed around love for family, the brilliance of everyday life, and an insatiable thirst for musical exploration. Its appeal lies in its sound that transcends the boundaries of jazz and classical music, its intricate string and brass arrangements, and the profound lyricism that shines through its improvisational elements.
